A quick review about myself, my beliefs, my opinions and whatever else comes to mind.
I am a gay man, born May 14th 1969 in the town of Gloucester Massachusetts, part of Cape Ann and near where the first settlers arrived.
I was born under the Zodiac sign 'Taurus'. I am stubborn and I love to eat. I feel that being part Italian, comes the love of food, which is genetic. The Italians do love to eat, add on the 'food is love" mindset, and you pretty much describe me to a 't' I also am a Rooster in the Chinese Zodiac, and once read a book that utilized the two Zodiac systems, American/Western and Chinese, that combines the Taurus with the Rooster, and in this book, the description is very accurate.
I reside in Boston Massachusetts with my companions; Shiva the black lab, Antonio the chihuahua, Inky the kitty and Elvis the Green iguana, who passed earlier in the year 2007.

I do not drink, do drugs or smoke, all of which consumed my life for a time and have left me unable to do them socially or in moderation. I have to thank 'Alcoholics Anonymous' for saving my life, along with 'Narcotics Anonymous'. Without these two programs, I would be one of the three; homeless, dead or in a mental institution. I got clean and sober July 1st 1991. I remember how hard it was to get sober. I tried twice before but could not get past the six month mark. I will speak more about Addiction & Recovery soon.
I do not hold much faith in any 'belief system', I have a life-long love for reseaching theologies. The list of 'belief systems' I have researched and studied, falls along the lines of any person searching for answers. I was brought up Catholic, and here are just a few of the others I looked into; Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Witchcraft, Satanism and all those that lay between 'Western' and 'Eastern' thought.
I am for Equal Rights for all. I am for gay marriages, not 'civil unions'. Basically, everyone deserves the same rights. I am also Pro-Human.....helping the poor, those in need....by giving them help to better themselves (economically and educationally ), not just enough to stay where they are with no way to make changes, keeping them stuck and "down".
I am Pro-Choice. A woman has a right to do whatever she wants with her body, as do men. I will never have to make the decision of whether or not to terminate a pregnancy, I am a man. I do not know if I would have an abortion, if I were a woman pregnant. Seems like an awful experience to go through.
I am for Population Control. This is not a new concept. The whole point being, in the future, the Earth itself, will not be enough to sustain the human race. I believe people should adopt before adding to this problem.
I am against Afirmative Action. I believe, if you get the grades to go into schools, or experience to get a certain job, you should not be denied this because you are white. It wasn't too long ago that black people were treated that way, so what makes it alright for white people to be treated this way, or any other color a persons skin may be. From what I understand, we all originated in Africa. Thats just one theory though.
