Here I discuss my journey through Recovery. Self injury, Abuse, Addicition, Eating disorder are just a few 'experiences' I have lived through. I have found that all of these 'addictions' or 'behaviors' have similar patterns and stem from similar feelings of emptiness and worthlessness. I have also found that the most helpful way to enter recovery is first, the obvious, stop whatever behavior you are doing that is hurting you, and by removing yourself from a situation you may be in, where someone else is hurting you.

The Yahoo Group I created to post news on. Straight To The Point News is a group formed to compile the many headline news stories I come across on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis, that I would like to divulge to as many people as I can. The news will be from a Progressive, Liberal and Secular points of view. Most topics will be in the form of a "excerpt" from the news story, with a link to the original story. I will do my best to give the "Source" of where I found the news. The Constitution and general politics will be the main focus.

Two-Spirit People, or one called a 'Berdache', or even one of the 'third gender', are individuals not caterigorized as either gay or lesbian, transvestite or bisexual. Those who, in many Native American Cultures, who are respected and looked apon as people who are both male and female, making them more complete, more balanced than simply a man or a woman. Before those from Europe came from across the waters, and took over their land, these people were part of the 'norm', connected with the very heartbeat of the life force we are all part of. Even today, Berdaches are accepted in many American Indian societies and in other settings.

I have created three web rings, two named "Websites with Many Topics", one from ‘RingSurf’ and another from ‘WebRing’, for those of us who have websites that focus on more than just one topic. I have been denied membership due to my website having multiple topics, and for being a member of too many web rings. This will NOT happen in this web ring. NO porno, hate, animal or human cruelty or any other topic that I feel would be offensive will be allowed to join !!! There are plenty of web rings to join that accept this kind of material.
The third web ring is named “Animals - R – Alive” This we bring has been created to spread the knowledge of Animal Welfare. Animals used in clothing, entertainment, food, research and sports all involve cruelty. Animals do not choose the life we as humans have provided for them. We need to protect them at all costs. Vegetarian and Vegan related sites are welcome to join, along with companion animal (pet) sites and sites that discuss the negative effects the use of Animals has on the Environment. No breeders or fanatical religious sites need apply. Obviously no animal cruelty sites will be accepted.
